Sylvie Fourcin, our Director, went on a group trip to YSP recently, and had this to say:
‘The project at Ripon House was a truly inspiring and transformational one. Artists Becky Cherriman and Milena Dragic used creative writing techniques as well as printing and textile painting to inspire and engage a group of women who have recently been released from long term jail sentences. The workshops culminated with a trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park where the women viewed and interpreted the Arts Council Kaleidoscope exhibition at the Longside Gallery as well as the Tony Cragg sculptures in the park, creating poetic performance pieces inspired by the works.’
Below are some photos the women took there.
