Our third 10-week project at The Regional Centre for Eating Disorders (Seacroft Hospital), took place between June and August 2012. Artists Rozi Fuller and Milena Dragic worked with patients and staff at the unit exploring textile and printing techniques in order to compliment and support individual recovery programmes.
The group produced a large body of work, some of which will be transformed into printed canvases to display on the ward, a pack of postcards will also be produced encapsulating six of the art pieces.
This project marks the half-way point of our three-year project at the unit. This has really enabled us to embed our work into the clinical programme and articulate the huge impact creativity can have on recovery and wellbeing.
Our new project is due to start in early 2013. Regular updates of the work can be found on our blog together with images and quotes.
