This project worked in partnership with Dosti, a mental health support group for South Asian women. Artists Rozi Fuller and Milena Dragic held a series of taster sessions across the 3 sites in Leeds, culminating with an 8-week project held weekly at Inkwell. The project worked with the women to explore animation and photography techniques to build upon the computer and assertiveness training they had taken part in previously. The artists supported the women to use these new techniques to explore and portray their lives, beliefs and values. The rapport built up between the artists and participants was strong and resulted in an excellent piece of animation and a number of beautiful canvas prints which will be on display throughout the Dosti centres.
